Dr. Kar Ray trained in Adult Psychiatry in Oxford Deanery. All his placements were in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. He worked in a range of specialties in a range of settings and developed the core skill in adult psychiatry as well as allied specialties like Addictions and Rehab. Along with clinical work he led research projects primarily involving neuroimaging in psychosis. He also enjoyed teaching at both under and post graduate level. He chaired the Specialist Registrar group and led important negotiations with the trust board. His placements included:
